Cleaning Products 1950's

Do you remember in the 1950's when in the grocery stores there were only about 4 cleaning products on the cleaning isle. Now there are 40 or more and those 4 were better than the other forty. I know that those 4 are still around today but like the rest they have no cleaning power. They think they are saving the environment, but people just use 4 times more ingredients trying to clean something and the environment is worse off than it was before.

What famous Christmas song was written in 1818?

A Christmas carol, composed in 1818 by Franz Xaver Gruber to lyrics by Joseph Mohr in the small town of Oberndorf bei Salzburg, Austria.

Silent night! Holy night!

All is calm, all is bright

Round yon virgin mother and child!

Holy infant, so tender and mild,

Sleep in heavenly peace!

Sleep in heavenly peace!

Silent night! Holy night!

Shepherds quake at the sight!

Glories stream from heaven afar,

Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia!

Christ the Saviour is born!

Christ the Saviour is born!

Silent night! Holy night!

Son of God, love's pure light

Radiant beams from thy holy face

With the dawn of redeeming grace,

Jesus, Lord, at thy birth!

Jesus, Lord, at thy birth!

It quickly became famous worldwide and still is today the most famous Christmas song ever.
